Tropical Cyclone Sidr along with the western coast of Bangladesh, with heavy wind and flood-water has killed thousands of people and injured tens of thousand. The powerful wind and lashing rain uprooted trees, leveled homes, and even damaged buildings where residents sought shelter; also, displaced more than 1 million people.

Helping Hand USA has established Bangladesh Cyclone Relief Fund to help the victims of this disaster and immediately allocated $300,000 to help the victims of the tragedy.
