Appeal for the Relief of Pakistan IDPs (3.2+ Million Refugees in their Own Country)
Food: Helping Hand is distributing food among 160,000 people with the help of World Food Program. Total worth of this three month program is $3.03+ Million. Shelter: Helping Hand has established a Tent Village in Takhtbai, Mardan to accomodate 1,100+ people for next three months. All needs including food, health and education are being met for the residents of this camp. Total expenses for the first three months on this tent village will exceed $200,000. Medical/Health: Helping Hand has established Medical camps and mobile clinics in the affected areas. Thousands of patients have been treated so far. Our Summer Internship Program
Helping Hand Launches Summer Internship Program for Students…
The Student Internship Program (SIP) at the HH provides an opportunity to spend the summer working side-by-side with some of the dedicated relief workers in the world in an environment devoted exclusively to the field of social services. Students sixteen years of age or older who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and are currently enrolled at least half-time in high school, an accredited U.S. college or university or an accredited U.S. medical/dental school are eligible to apply. Students who have been accepted into a college or university may also apply.
